The man apparently took advantage of the fact that he was under house arrest to commit the crime and then fled to Magdalena Medio.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, a judge imposed a prison sentence against a man who allegedly murdered his former partner on July 3 in Medell\u00edn (Antioquia).<\/span><\/p>\n

A sectional charged him with aggravated femicide; illegal possession of firearms for the exclusive use of the Military Forces; and escape of prisoners. He did not plead guilty to the charges.<\/span><\/p>\n

The facts under investigation took place in a house located at the so-called 12 de Octubre neighborhood, where the defendant allegedly attacked his 36-year-old former partner with a firearm. Apparently, the woman expressed her desire to end the relationship, due to the continuous mistreatment. The victim died some days later in a health center in the capital of Antioquia.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the investigation, it was evident that the crime apparently occurred several hours after the man arrived at his property to serve house, which had been imposed by a judge for other criminal acts.<\/span><\/p>\n

Members of the Technical Investigative Corps (CTI) with the support of the Police and the National Army arrested him in the rural area of El Brasil in \u200b\u200bPuerto Berr\u00edo (Antioquia). In the judicial proceeding, a mini uzi submachine gun, a magazine and 20 cartridges were seized.<\/span><\/p>\n
