The investigative work carried out by the Attorney General’s Office made it possible to deal a hard blow to a criminal network called Italia, involved in local drug trafficking in G\u00e9nova (Quind\u00edo).<\/span><\/p>\n

A prosecutor appointed to the Sectional Office in Quind\u00edo charged, according to their level of individual responsibility, nine of its alleged members with aggravated conspiracy to commit crimes; trafficking, manufacture or possession of narcotics and illegal destination of real estate or personal property. They did not plead guilty to the charges.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the investigation, N\u00f3rida Montenegro Pulgar\u00edn would be the leader and was allegedly in charge of supplying illicit substances such as marijuana, bazuco or cocaine that would be sold in properties in La Isla neighborhood, the main park of the municipality and Sedral area.<\/span><\/p>\n

Apparently, the narcotics were stored a<\/span>t these houses to be sold by other members of the organization.<\/p>\n

Germ\u00e1n Montenegro Perdomo, Jhor Leandro D\u00edaz Osorio, Luis Fabi\u00e1n Pulgar\u00edn Betancourth, Mar\u00eda Yesenia Pulgar\u00edn Betancurt, Jhon Jairo Giraldo Rend\u00f3n, Brahian David Montoya Castillo, Jazm\u00edn Rodr\u00edguez Gonz\u00e1lez and Dairo Alejandro Gonz\u00e1lez Pulgar\u00edn were allegedly part of the criminal group.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the request of the Prosecutor’s Office, a judge imposed a prison sentence against all those currently under investigation.<\/span><\/p>\n
