This group committed crimes in the central and residential area of \u200b\u200bthe capital of Huila.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The evidence presented by the Attorney General&#8217;s Office was accepted by the judge and imposed a prison sentence against three alleged members of the so-called Las Pira\u00f1as criminal organization, accused of committing thefts in different sectors of Neiva (Huila).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Prosecutor&#8217;s Office charged them with manufacture, trafficking or possession of firearm and qualified theft, both aggravated. None pleaded guilty to the charges brought by the Office of the Attorney General.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Police arrested Juan Esteban D\u00edaz Barrera, Santiago Cueva Alba and Juan Esteban Medina Rodr\u00edguez, in Canaima Sur neighborhood in Neiva.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the investigation carried out by a prosecutor appointed to the Immediate Reaction Unit (Unidad de Reacci\u00f3n Inmediata URI), the alleged thieves would be linked to facts that took place on November 14, in the Timanco neighborhood, in the south area of Neiva. The victim was approached by the defendants, who allegedly stole work tools such as a tablet, a cell phone, a wallet and two bags, approximately 1,500,000 COP worth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The information contained in this press release corresponds to the narration of the objective news provided by the officials in charge of carrying out criminal investigations within the Office of the Attorney General.
