Investigative work carried out by the Attorney General’s Office allowed the prosecution of 11 alleged members of the so-called Constantinos<\/em>, a drug trafficking network, allegedly linked to local drug trafficking in Pereira (Risaralda).<\/span><\/p>\n

The people involved are Jos\u00e9 Adri\u00e1n Colorado, Elsy Johana Molina P\u00e9rez, Juan Carlos Ordo\u00f1ez Aguilar, Estefan\u00eda Mahecha Guapacha, Jeni Alejandra Castro Valencia, Mar\u00eda Camila Mahecha Guapacha, Diana Marcela Cer\u00f3n Rojas, Jhon Fredy Quintero Hoyos, Andr\u00e9s Felipe L\u00f3pez Castro, Andr\u00e9s Fabi\u00e1n Lotero L\u00f3pez and Luisa Stefan\u00eda Ochoa.<\/span><\/p>\n

These people were charged, according to their level of individual responsibility, with conspiracy to commit crimes and trafficking, manufacture or possession of narcotics. They did not plead guilty to the charges.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the investigation, since November 2023 this criminal group would be selling bazuco and dosis of marijuana in the area known as <\/span>Los Puentes de la novena<\/span><\/i> and in mobile sale points.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the investigation, the defendants allegedly fulfilled specific roles within the illegal structure such as ringleaders, coordinators of distribution at sales points, transporters and collectors of money that would be linked to illicit trade; in addition to people in charge of controlling and protecting the sale points. Also, there would be people in charge of storing the narcotics.<\/span><\/p>\n

The people under investigation were arrested in home searches carried out by the National Police in <\/span>comuna <\/span><\/i>Villa Santana in Pereira and Dosquebradas (Risaralda).<\/span><\/p>\n

A judge imposed a prison sentence for Lotero L\u00f3pez. The others must serve house arrest.<\/span><\/p>\n
