The arrest took place on a public road in the so-called <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">31 de Marzo<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> neighborhood in Popay\u00e1n. During the operations, the authorities seized a knife that was allegedly used to injure the man who eventually died.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The facts under investigation took place in the La Borrachera sector where an argument took place between the victim, 37, and the defendant. V\u00e1squez Erazo did not plead guilty to the charges, and a judge imposed a prison sentence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0The information contained in this press release corresponds to the narration of the objective news provided by the officials in charge of carrying out criminal investigations within the Office of the Attorney General.
