The defendants were allegedly responsible for an attempted murder that occurred on April 17, 2023, and a homicide that occurred on April 14 of this year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Police, with the support of the Gaula from the Army, arrested the defendants during search warrants carried out in Funza (Cundinamarca), Ambalema and Ibagu\u00e9 (Tolima).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They were charged, according to their individual responsibilities, with conspiracy to commit crimes for the purpose of forced displacement; aggravated homicide; attempted homicide; manufacture, trafficking or possession of firearms and; trafficking, manufacture or drug possession. They did not plead guilty to the charges\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A judge imposed a prison sentence against them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The information contained in this press release corresponds to the narration of the objective news provided by the officials in charge of carrying out criminal investigations within the Office of the Attorney General.
