A 9 mm firearm and 5.56 caliber cartridges for rifles, magazines and a fragmentation grenade were seized.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A prosecutor from the so-called Unidad de Reacci\u00f3n Inmediata URI (Immediate Reaction Unit) charged them with manufacture, trafficking or possession of weapons for the exclusive use of the Armed Forces. They did not plead guilty to the charges.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A judge approved the request made by the Attorney General&#8217;s Office and imposed a prison sentence.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The information contained in this press release corresponds to the narration of the objective news provided by the officials in charge of carrying out criminal investigations within the Office of the Attorney General.
