The defendant was arrested while he was receiving 15 million COP, allegedly, derived from an extortion in which the victim was the manager of a farm in the municipality of Man\u00ed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Information in the Office of the Attorney General\u2019s hands showed that in April, two men arrived at the farm to demand a large sum of money from the victim in exchange for not attacking him, his family or his property.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vanegas Hern\u00e1ndez, who pretended to be a member of the so-called Clan del Golfo, was arrested in a central area in Villavicencio (Meta).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Office of the Attorney General charged him with attempted aggravated extortion and aggravated extortion.
