The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted alleged members of the criminal group Los Mogra, which was involved in the local drug trafficking in <\/span>Comunas<\/span><\/i> 3 and 4, especially in the tourist and archaeological sector of Popay\u00e1n (Cauca). Among those charged are 8 adults and 2 minors.<\/span><\/p>\n

The narcotics were stored on sidewalks, trees, electrical boxes, retaining walls located in green areas, and then sold to tourists, passersby, among others.<\/span><\/p>\n

The members of the criminal structure were arrested in simultaneous operations carried out by Sij\u00edn-National Police with support from the <\/span>Grupo de Operaciones Especiales-GOES <\/span><\/i>(Special Operations Group) in sectors identified with the largest drug trade activity.<\/span><\/p>\n

A prosecutor from <\/span>Estructura de Apoyo EDA<\/span><\/i> (Support Structure) charged them, according to their level of participation, with conspiracy to commit a crime, use of minors to commit crimes and manufacture, trafficking and possession of narcotics.<\/span><\/p>\n

A judge imposed a prison sentence on Cristi\u00e1n David Llant\u00e9n Alegr\u00eda and Jhon Sebasti\u00e1n L\u00f3pez Prado. House arrest was issued to Dani Francisco Cort\u00e9s Reyes, Nimer Antonio Mosquera Rodr\u00edguez, Jennifer Daniela Vidal Walton, Wveimar Andr\u00e9s Ortega Salinas, Jos\u00e9 Armando Mu\u00f1oz Gaviria and Juan Pablo Mosquera Enr\u00edquez.<\/span><\/p>\n

For their part, two minors were sent to a preventive detention center.<\/span><\/p>\n
