At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, a judge imposed a detention measure against 13 alleged members of the criminal group Los del R\u00edo, involved in petty drug dealing in Yumbo (Valle del Cauca).<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the investigation, ‘Los del R\u00edo’ committed crimes in neighborhoods: Frey Pe\u00f1a, Guacanda, Belalc\u00e1zar, near the gallery and the park of that town.<\/span><\/p>\n

Judicial police work made it possible to establish that ‘Los del R\u00edo’ would use different places to sell marijuana, cocaine and bazooka in minimum doses.<\/span><\/p>\n

Likewise, it was established that the people that was involved had defined roles as vendors, colleagues and suppliers who were led by alleged ringleaders.<\/span><\/p>\n

The arrests were conducted in 13 search procedures ordered by the Prosecutor’s Office. Narcotics, a firearm, ammunition, cash and a cell phone were seized in the operations.<\/span><\/p>\n

A prosecutor from the<\/span> so-called<\/span> Estructura de Apoyo<\/span><\/i> of the Sectional Office in Cali\u00a0 charged the defendants, according to their alleged degree of participation, with aggravated criminal conspiracy; trafficking, manufacture or possession of drugs and; manufacture, trafficking, possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition.<\/span><\/p>\n
