The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted 14 members of the criminal group Los Distribuidores, allegedly involved in drug trafficking in Bol\u00edvar, Atl\u00e1ntico, Magdalena and San Andr\u00e9s.<\/span><\/p>\n

The defendants apparently sold cocaine and marijuana in neighborhoods El Bosque, El Zapatero, Olaya Herrera, Once de Noviembre, Flor del Campo and the rural area of Pasacaballos located in the eastern area of \u200b\u200bCartagena. They also distributed and sold drugs in stores in the municipalities of Soledad (Atl\u00e1ntico) and Ci\u00e9naga (Magdalena).<\/span><\/p>\n

The investigations showed that the drugs were taken to said place by members of the criminal network who fulfilled the role of transporters. They used buses of public service, private vehicles; and vessels destined for San Andr\u00e9s and Providencia.<\/span><\/p>\n

The defendants who were arrested in seven search operations carried out by the National Police in Cartagena (Bol\u00edvar), Ci\u00e9naga (Magdalena) and Soledad (Atl\u00e1ntico) are: Diego Andr\u00e9s Viloria Arzuza, alias Pollo or Coco; Jhon Jairo Pineda Rivera, alias Walker; Wilmer Gregorio L\u00f3pez Jim\u00e9nez, Carlos Eduardo Z\u00e1rate Ram\u00edrez, alias Gordo; Jader Blanco Fruto, Angis Marcela Miranda Garc\u00eda, Rigail de Jes\u00fas Baldovino Herrera, Olga Patricia Arrieta Vega, Jorge Eli\u00e9cer Mart\u00ednez Coronel, V\u00edctor Manuel Torregroza Echeverr\u00eda and Kellys Johanna Guti\u00e9rrez Miranda.<\/span><\/p>\n

Santos Jes\u00fas Soriano Fuentes and Nilson Andr\u00e9s Trujillo Polo, who are currently in prison serving a sentence for other crimes, were also prosecuted. For her part, Yoselin del Carmen Contreras was arrested in flagrante delicto.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a result of these operations, 8 kilograms of marijuana, cocaine, 9 cell phones and cash were seized. Likewise, nine fixed stores for drug distribution were eradicated.<\/span><\/p>\n

The defendants did not plead guilty to aggravated criminal conspiracy and manufacturing, trafficking or possession of narcotics.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the judge\u00b4 s decision, the 10 men will serve their sentence in San Sebasti\u00e1n Ternera prison in Cartagena; while three of the women received house arrest. Yoselin del Carmen Contreras Romero was released but remains linked to the investigation.<\/span><\/p>\n
