The Prosecutor’s Office hold them responsible for the alleged commission of two murders and three attempted homicides.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Upon approving the request made by the Attorney General’s Office, a judge imposed a prison sentence against 13 alleged members of the criminal group Los Indios, which was involved in criminal activities (hitmen) and petty drug dealing in two neighborhoods in eastern area of Cali (Valle of Cauca).<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the investigation, led by a specialized prosecutor from the Sectional Office in Cali, the criminal structure was allegedly involved in two homicides that occurred on December 3 and 24, 2023 in the Mojica II neighborhood. One of the victims was a minor.<\/span><\/p>\n

Likewise, it was established that they had participated in three attempted homicides that occurred in December 2023, on March 24 and May 26.<\/span><\/p>\n

The criminal group’s source of financing was the sale of drugs in small quantities, generally near schools. It allegedly identified the people they were supposed to murder and also used minors to commit said crimes.<\/span><\/p>\n

The defendants were arrested in searches. Cash, different amounts of marijuana, bazooka, cocaine, as well as elements<\/span> used to measure the dosage<\/span> were seized.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Prosecutor’s Office charged the defendants with homicide, attempted homicide, conspiracy to commit a crime; and trafficking, manufacture or possession of narcotics; illegal possession of weapons and use of minors to commit crimes.<\/span><\/p>\n
