Thanks to five home searches, the Prosecutor’s Office in Caldas managed to arrest 10 people who would belong to two illegal organizations that commit crimes in Riosucio and Chinchin\u00e1.<\/span><\/p>\n

These people would be involved in the sale of narcotics in said locations. They were charged with aggravated criminal conspiracy; trafficking, manufacture and\/or possession of narcotics and illicit allocation of real estate or personal property.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eight of the defendants were arrested in the sectors: La Pave, La Candelaria park and San Sebasti\u00e1n park in Riosucio, where different quantities of marijuana, bazooka and cocaine were seized, in addition to a 38 mm caliber firearm, a traumatic weapon and a motorcycle.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Chinchin\u00e1, two people who are believed to have committed crimes in La Frontera neighborhood were arrested. At the scene, authorities found cocaine, marijuana, ketamine and a traumatic weapon with seven cartridges.<\/span><\/p>\n

In both operations, cell phones, <\/span>elements used to measure the dosage<\/span> and cash were found.<\/span><\/p>\n

None of the defendants pleaded guilty to the charges brought by a prosecutor belonging to the office known as <\/span>Estructura de Apoyo<\/span><\/i> in Manizales (Caldas). At the request of the Prosecutor’s Office, people under investigation were sentenced to prison.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Office of the Attorney General makes this information public for reasons of general interest.<\/span><\/p>\n
