The defendants, 20 and 18, respectively, would be part of an illegal group known as Los Chombolos which commits crimes in Las Mar\u00edas neighborhood.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The facts under investigation took place on March 21st near the bullring where, during a festival, the defendants allegedly attacked with a knife a man who was attending the bullfighting festival.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The victim, 21 years old, was helped by the community but died when was taken to the medical center. Apparently, the crime occurred due to disputes between young people of different neighborhoods.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The D\u00edaz Madero brothers were arrested by the National Police in Bogot\u00e1 on June 30, by virtue of a court order. They did not plead guilty to the charges of aggravated homicide.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Office of the Attorney General makes this information public for reasons of general interest.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The information contained in this press release corresponds to the narration of the objective news provided by the officials in charge of carrying out criminal investigations within the Office of the Attorney General.
