{"id":42376,"date":"2024-07-05T17:30:34","date_gmt":"2024-07-05T22:30:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=42376"},"modified":"2024-07-08T14:16:27","modified_gmt":"2024-07-08T19:16:27","slug":"three-people-allegedly-responsible-for-the-commission-of-homicides-in-cucuta-norte-de-santander-were-sent-to-prison","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2024\/07\/05\/three-people-allegedly-responsible-for-the-commission-of-homicides-in-cucuta-norte-de-santander-were-sent-to-prison\/","title":{"rendered":"Three people allegedly responsible for the commission of homicides in C\u00facuta (Norte de Santander) were sent to prison"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the request of the Attorney General&#8217;s Office, a judge imposed an intramural detention measure on three men who participated in a homicide that took place in C\u00facuta (Norte de Santander).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is about Deivi Alexander Moncada Moncada, alias <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">el Enano<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">; Fredy Alexander G\u00e1mez, alias Toto; and Jorge Daniel Ca\u00f1izares Villamizar, alias Villamizar, alleged members of the criminal structure known as <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">la Familia P.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The investigation is related to an attack with a firearm that occurred on December 26, 2023, in Garc\u00eda Herreros neighborhood where two brothers were murdered.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A prosecutor belonging to the so-called <em>Unidad de Vida<\/em> of the Sectional Office in Santander identified them thanks to judicial police activities such as statements, interviews, analysis of security camera videos, among others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The defendants were arrested on July 2nd in a joint work between investigators from the Technical Investigative Corps (CTI) and Sij\u00edn-Metropolitan Police of C\u00facuta (Norte de Santander).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Prosecutor&#8217;s Office charged them with homicide and manufacturing, trafficking, possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition, both aggravated. They did not plead guilty to the charges.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The information contained in this press release corresponds to the narration of the objective news provided by the officials in charge of carrying out criminal investigations within the Office of the Attorney General.
