Due to the evidence obtained by the Attorney General’s Office, Cristian Camilo Valenzuela Zapata, alias Pollo; and Samir Leonardo Ram\u00edrez Torres, alias El Negro, pleaded guilty, through a preliminary agreement, to the murder of six members of the public force in Meta and Caquet\u00e1, between September 2021 and January 2022<\/p>\n
A specialized judge in Florencia (Caquet\u00e1) approved the agreement and sentenced the two members of the Jorge Brice\u00f1o structure of FARC dissidents, to 34 years and 7 months in prison for \u00a0aggravated homicide, attempted homicide; manufacturing, trafficking, possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition; and aggravated criminal conspiracy.<\/p>\n
The first case took place on September 16, 2021, in San Vicente del Cagu\u00e1n (Caquet\u00e1). National Police patrolmen V\u00edctor Alfonso Rojas Vargas and Kevin Esteban Guevara Barrios were attacked with firearms while carrying out their duties.<\/p>\n
Subsequently, on December 9, 2021, ‘Pollo’ and ‘Negro’ shot a group of National Navy, in the rural area of \u200b\u200bCartagena del Chair\u00e1 (Caquet\u00e1). The marines John Flores Jaramillo and Jheison Alberto N\u00fa\u00f1ez Moreno died while another officer was seriously injured.<\/p>\n
Finally, on January 11, 2022, the defendants caused the death of the National Police patrolmen Jos\u00e9 Edinson Rivera Garrido and Hermes Alberto Mora Guevara in Lejan\u00edas (Meta).<\/p>\n
