The defendants were allegedly involved in the forced displacement of several families residing in Buenaventura (Valle del Cauca).<\/p>\n<p>Defendants are: Ronald Fabi\u00e1n P\u00e9rez Jim\u00e9nez, alias Tata; Brandon Stiven Gonz\u00e1lez Ibarguen, alias Brandon; Kevin Esteban Perea Renter\u00eda, alias Largo; Katerine Joahana Perea Espinosa, alias La Perris; Luis Herminio Perea N\u00fa\u00f1ez, alias Luisito; Brayan Alberto S\u00e1nchez Gil, alias Cascorvo; Jhon Alex Murillo Gonz\u00e1lez, alias Cholo; y Duver Arley Pretel Z\u00fa\u00f1iga, alias Pretel.<\/p>\n<p>According to the investigation, the defendants would be part of an armed group who arrived in the Do\u00f1a Ceci neighborhood on November 25, 2023. There, they intimidated several families who were forced to leave their homes for not paying fees of 2 million COP to be able to live in that sector. The victims had to leave Buenaventura and move to other cities in Valle del Cauca.<\/p>\n<p>People under investigation also hold several people prisoners for three hours. During this period of time they searched their homes and seized valuable items and money.<\/p>\n<p>The defendants were arrested during simultaneous operations carried out by members of the Technical Investigative Corps (CTI), Sij\u00edn &#8211; National Police and Gaula- Army in neighborhoods such as: Obrero, 12 de Abril, La Independencia and San Buenaventura.<\/p>\n<p><em>The information contained in this press release corresponds to the narration of the objective news provided by the officials in charge of carrying out criminal investigations within the Office of the Attorney General.
