A prosecutor assigned to the Sectional Office in Casanare prosecuted Braulio Javier Hern\u00e1ndez Mar\u00edn and Jenny Alexandra Ospina V\u00e1squez, for their alleged participation in the kidnapping of a woman in Casanare.<\/p>\n
The kidnapping took place on November 14, 2023 on a farm located in the rural area of \u200b\u200bHato Corozal, where the victim was relinquished of his belongings and taken to an unknown location by six people, apparently including those currently prosecuted, who would do part of the criminal group ‘Los del Norte’<\/em>.<\/p>\n After a demand of 800 million pesos in exchange for not attacking the woman, the family could paid 110 million to the kidnappers. The victim was released on November 20 in Paz de Ariporo (Casanare).<\/p>\n Hern\u00e1ndez Mar\u00edn and Ospina V\u00e1squez were arrested in Villavicencio (Meta) and Bogot\u00e1, respectively, by Gaula Casanare. The Prosecutor’s Office charged them with kidnapping with extortion and theft.
