The Office of the Attorney General obtained a prison sentence against Wilson Alexis \u00c1lvarez Casta\u00f1eda, alias Alexis, as the alleged perpetrator of aggravated homicide, illegal possession of firearms for personal defense and and aggravated theft.<\/p>\n
According to the investigation carried out by a prosecutor from the so-called Unidad de Vida of the Sectional Office in Medell\u00edn, the defendant allegedly participated in the murder of Carlos Andr\u00e9s Valencia Llano, driver of a vehicle, working for a digital platform for public service.<\/p>\n
The victim was wounded with a firearm and his vehicle, his personal belongings and his identity documents were stolen. The facts occurred on June 23, 2022, in the Campo Vald\u00e9s neighborhood in Medell\u00edn (Antioquia).<\/p>\n
\u00c1lvarez Casta\u00f1eda was arrested this December 2, by members of the Technical Investigation Corps and the National Police. The defendant did not plead guilty.<\/p>\n
