At the request of the Prosecutor’s Office, a judge in \u00a0Oca\u00f1a (Norte de Santander) issued a prison sentence against Regino Ram\u00edrez Jacome for his alleged responsibility in the crime of trafficking, manufacturing, or possession of narcotics.<\/p>\n
According to the investigations carried out by the institution, the man was arrested in a flagrante delicto on March 18 by National Police, when they surprised him when transporting 12 kilos of cocaine.<\/p>\n
The substance was found in the gasoline tank of a motorcycle in which the accused was traveling between the municipalities of Oca\u00f1a and Sardinata (Norte de Santander) where it was going to be sold.<\/p>\n
Ram\u00edrez Jacome did not plead guilty to the charges brought by the Prosecutor’s Office and will serve the sentence in a prison in Oca\u00f1a.<\/p>\n
