{"id":40364,"date":"2021-12-10T11:22:04","date_gmt":"2021-12-10T16:22:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=40364"},"modified":"2021-12-10T21:01:13","modified_gmt":"2021-12-11T02:01:13","slug":"a-prison-sentence-was-issued-against-members-of-the-so-called-primera-linea-who-would-be-involved-in-violent-acts-in-valle-del-cauca","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2021\/12\/10\/a-prison-sentence-was-issued-against-members-of-the-so-called-primera-linea-who-would-be-involved-in-violent-acts-in-valle-del-cauca\/","title":{"rendered":"A prison sentence was issued against members of the so-called \u2018Primera Linea\u2019 who would be involved in violent acts in Valle del Cauca"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>A judge hearing the case ordered the arrest of the defendants who had been released by order of a judge of first instance.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Due to the conclusive evidence obtained by the Office of the Attorney General, a judge in the second instance, in Tulu\u00e1 (Valle del Cauca) revoked a decision of another judge and imposed a prison sentence against 17 members of the so-called &#8216;Primera L\u00ednea&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>These people allegedly participated in the illegal deprivation of liberty of three DIJIN officials of the National Police in violent events that occurred on May 26 of this year, in the sector known as La Y, in Bugalagrande (Valle del Cauca).<\/p>\n<p>The investigations showed that the accused people attacked the officer\u00b4s integrity, poured gas on them, and later they set fire. In addition, there is evidence of acts of torture with blunt and sharp objects, as well as the theft of work weapons and other personal items.<\/p>\n<p>According to the verifications, the vehicle in which the officials were transporting was attacked with homemade explosives \u2018Molotov\u2019 and incinerated. In this sense, on August 6, the Prosecutor&#8217;s Office charged them with aggravated homicide in the degree of attempt, aggravated torture, aggravated simple kidnapping, robbery and aggravated damage to someone else&#8217;s property.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, the judge refrained from imposing detention measures against those people implicated. However, the judge in the second instance considered that, given the seriousness of the conduct and the conclusive evidence, the members of the &#8216;Primera L\u00ednea\u2019 cannot remain free, therefore, the judge ordered their immediate arrest to be sent to prison.<\/p>\n<p>CTI investigators have carried out nine of these arrests against:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Karina Reyes Varela, alias Flaca or Karina.<\/li>\n<li>Jhon Deiby Castillo Murillo, alias Negro Montary.<\/li>\n<li>Jonatan Sabogal, alias Vegeta.<\/li>\n<li>V\u00edctor Alfonso Tasc\u00f3n Gonz\u00e1lez, alias Calucha.<\/li>\n<li>Cristian David Granada S\u00e1nchez, alias Calixto.<\/li>\n<li>Miguel \u00c1ngel Gonz\u00e1lez V\u00e9lez, alias Care Burro.<\/li>\n<li>\u00c1lvaro Jos\u00e9 Rojas Lamos, alias Pi\u00f1a.<\/li>\n<li>Epifanio Dom\u00ednguez Bola\u00f1os, alias Epifanio.<\/li>\n<li>Jorge Luis Gordillo Coronado, alias Hormiga.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Investigative actions continue.<\/p>\n<p>The Office of the Attorney General makes this information public for reasons of general interest.<\/p>\n<p>When we speak, results follow.<\/p>\n<p><em>The information contained in this press release corresponds to the narration of the objective news provided by the officials in charge of carrying out the criminal investigations within the Office of the Attorney General.
