This result was obtained thanks to a joint work of the National Police, CTI and Sectional Directorates of those departments.<\/p>\n<p>In total, 256 people were arrested the last month, (145 by virtue of a judicial order and 113 in flagrante delicto) for the crimes of homicide, drug trafficking, theft, possession of weapons, sexual crimes, domestic violence, among others.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, 161 kilos of marijuana, 2 kilos of cocaine and 8 firearms were seized in different home searches procedures.<\/p>\n<p>These are some of the results that were achieved:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Hard blow against \u2018Palermo\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By virtue of a judicial order, Jorge Luis De La Ossa Fl\u00f3rez, Eli\u00e9cer Antonio Hern\u00e1ndez Arrieta, Luis Eduardo Sevilla Galeano, Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Imbett Sierra and Roberto De los \u00c1ngeles Rodr\u00edguez Ben\u00edtez alleged members of the Palermo criminal organization, which operated in the department of Sucre. were arrested for aggravated criminal conspiracy to commit extortion.<\/p>\n<p>The evidence shows that this gang would be at the service of one of the structures of the Clan del Golfo.<\/p>\n<p>This criminal group would be responsible for collecting extortions from merchants in San Benito Abad Sucre, Santiago Ap\u00f3stol and neighboring areas.<\/p>\n<p>At the request of the Attorney General&#8217;s Office, a judge imposed a prison sentence.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Hard blow against \u2018Arion\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Carlos Andr\u00e9s Romero P\u00e9rez, alias Aldo, and Jos\u00e9 Eduardo Fajardo, alias Lavomatic, alleged members of the criminal structure \u2018Arion\u2019 belonging to the Clan del Golfo that operates in the department of Sucre, were sent to jail.<\/p>\n<p>According to the investigations, these people are allegedly responsible for extorting people in La Mojana.<\/p>\n<p>The two defendants were charged with aggravated conspiracy and aggravated extortion.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The alleged members of \u2018Los Ades\u2019 were arrested<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Five alleged members of the criminal group Los Ades were arrested by virtue of a court order in the municipality of Corozal (Sucre).<\/p>\n<p>According to the investigations, this structure would be responsible for the distribution and commercialization of narcotic drugs in the municipalities of Morroa and Corozal.<\/p>\n<p>The arrested people were prosecuted for the crimes of conspiracy to commit a crime for micro-trafficking purposes and four of them were sent to prison by a judge.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> Alleged members of \u2018Los Canutos\u2019 were brought before justice<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At the request of the Attorney General\u00b4s Office, a judge sentenced 9 alleged members of the criminal group Los Canutos which was involved in drug trafficking in the department of C\u00f3rdoba.<\/p>\n<p>According to the investigations, this group operates in the municipalities of San Andr\u00e9s de Sotavento and Tuch\u00edn. As a result of home searches, the authorities seized 4 cell phones, a revolver, a shotgun, coca base, marijuana and cash.<\/p>\n<p>The defendants were charged with aggravated conspiracy, drug trafficking and illegal possession of weapons.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>&#8216;The Psychotropics&#8217; were sentenced to prison<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A judge sentenced 7 alleged members of the criminal structure \u2018Los Sicotr\u00f3picos\u2019 for allegedly distributing hallucinogenic substances.<\/p>\n<p>The decision was pronounced against: C\u00e9sar Augusto Oyola Guzm\u00e1n, alias Tarz\u00e1n; Luis Alfonso Villalobos D\u00edaz, alias Gato; Ramiro Quiceno Molina, alias Huevo; Rub\u00e9n Dar\u00edo Urango Arrieta, alias Pichichi, Rosalba R\u00faa Garc\u00eda, alias Rosalba; Eduardo Enrique Caraballo Montalvo, alias Lucho; and Lizeth Samara G\u00f3ngora Mesa, alias Samara. The defendants were charged with aggravated trafficking, manufacture or possession of narcotics.<\/p>\n<p>According to the investigation carried out by the Attorney General\u00b4s Office, this criminal group that would be at the service of Clan del Golfo, was involved in the distribution of hallucinogenic substances in an urban area of \u200b\u200bthe municipality of Montel\u00edbano (C\u00f3rdoba) which collected 62 million pesos per month.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> Hard blow against \u2018Los Joyeros\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pedro Rafael Ch\u00e1vez Villamil, alias El Pica, and Yesid Adolfo Solano Oviedo, alias \u2018el Beb\u00e9\u2019 were sent to prison for their alleged responsibility in the robbery of a jewelry store located in the sector Villa del R\u00edo in Monter\u00eda (C\u00f3rdoba).<\/p>\n<p>The facts took place on December 2, 2020, when several men and a woman arrived at the establishment, and they allegedly intimidated employees with firearms and stole jewelry valued at more than COP 270 million.<\/p>\n<p>When we speak, results follow.<\/p>\n<p><em>The information contained in this press release corresponds to the narration of the objective news provided by the officials in charge of carrying out the criminal investigations within the Office of the Attorney General.
