The arrested person, known as \u2018India Carolina\u2019, allegedly followed the victims to commit the murders that, according to the investigations, were ordered by alias Gentil Duarte, the top ringleader of dissent in the east of the country.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n

The investigation and prosecution strategy designed according to the guidelines of the Attorney General, Francisco Barbosa Delgado to clarify acts that affect people in process of reincorporation, allowed the arrest and prosecution of Diana Campo Noscu\u00e9, alias India Carolina, an alleged member of the Residual Organized Armed Group (Grupo Armado Organizado Residual Gaor) Jorge Brice\u00f1o Su\u00e1rez.<\/p>\n

The Special Itinerant Group of the Office of the Attorney General, in a joint action with CTI, the National Police and the National Army, located this woman in the rural area La Julia, in La Uribe (Meta).<\/p>\n

Alias \u200b\u200bIndia Carolina would have participated in the murder of\u00a0 the former Farc members\u00a0 in process of reincorporation Juan de Jes\u00fas Monroy Ayala, adviser on reincorporation process in Meta and leader of\u00a0 Espacio Territorial de Capacitaci\u00f3n y Reincorporaci\u00f3n (ETCR) La Pista; and Luis Alex\u00e1nder Largo G\u00f3mez, an escort of the National Protection Unit (Unidad Nacional de Protecci\u00f3n UNP), which took place on October 16 in the sector El Planch\u00f3n del Guayabero, in the rural area of \u200b\u200bLa Uribe.<\/p>\n

The Office of the Attorney General has evidence that indicates that the defendant was ordered to follow the victims, learn about their movements and alert about the presence of the authorities. It is believed that \u2018Gentil Duarte\u2019, the top ringleader of the dissident in the eastern part of the country, ordered alias Urias Cotiz\u2019s\u00a0 commission\u00a0 to carry out the murders.<\/p>\n

The arrested woman was charged with aggravated murder with multiple concurrent crimes and aggravated trafficking, manufacture or possession of weapons for the exclusive use of the Armed Forces or explosives; and criminal conspiracy to commit a crime. She was sent to prison by a supervisory judge.<\/p>\n

This result is added to the prosecution of Gustavo Reyes Bustos, who was arrested on November 15th where the murders took place. The evidence indicates that, he allegedly carried out surveillance and follow-ups. For these activities, he apparently received COP $ 300,000.<\/p>\n

The arrest of \u2018India Carolina\u2019 is among the hard blows that the Special Itinerant Group has given to clarify crimes against human rights defenders, people in process of reincorporation and their families. Also the recent arrest of Ronal Arnulfo Torres Huertas, alias \u00c1lvaro Boyaco, alleged ringleader of one of the main commissions of the group Jorge Brice\u00f1o Su\u00e1rez, and Gentil Duarte\u2019s trusted person.<\/p>\n

In 2020, the Office of the Attorney General reports a 50.44% progress in the clarification of murders of people in process of reincorporation and family members, with 171 cases solved.<\/p>\n
