{"id":39481,"date":"2020-11-12T16:13:18","date_gmt":"2020-11-12T21:13:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=39481"},"modified":"2020-11-13T14:08:26","modified_gmt":"2020-11-13T19:08:26","slug":"former-mayor-of-quibdo-was-charged-for-alleged-administrative-corruption-regarding-a-contract-to-improve-the-roads","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2020\/11\/12\/former-mayor-of-quibdo-was-charged-for-alleged-administrative-corruption-regarding-a-contract-to-improve-the-roads\/","title":{"rendered":"Former mayor of Quibd\u00f3 was charged for alleged administrative corruption regarding a contract to improve the roads"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Before a supervisory judge, the Office of the Attorney General charged former mayor of Quibd\u00f3 (Choc\u00f3) 2012 \u2013 2016, Zulia Mar\u00eda Mena Garc\u00eda with execution of a contract without compliance with legal requirements.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The investigation is related to alleged irregularities committed in the planning and execution of a contract signed with consortium\u00a0<i>Malla Vial<\/i>\u00a0for COP $ 13,000,000,000 in 2014, for the improvement of the road\u00a0<i>Puente La Platina<\/i>\u00a0in neighborhood\u00a0<i>El Porvenir<\/i>\u00a0in Choc\u00f3.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">According to the evidence collected in the process led by a prosecutor of the Sectional Office in Choc\u00f3, there was a patrimonial detriment exceeding COP $670,000,000.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">For these facts, Ismael de Jes\u00fas Aldana Vivas, auditor of the work, and Luis Cardona Mar\u00edn, the contractor, were also prosecuted.
