{"id":39452,"date":"2020-11-03T11:07:52","date_gmt":"2020-11-03T16:07:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=39452"},"modified":"2020-11-04T13:59:04","modified_gmt":"2020-11-04T18:59:04","slug":"after-creating-a-judicial-and-police-bloc-to-prosecute-child-abusers-the-office-of-the-attorney-general-obtained-a-detention-measure-against-three-men-for-the-commission-of-sexual-offenses-in-cordob","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2020\/11\/03\/after-creating-a-judicial-and-police-bloc-to-prosecute-child-abusers-the-office-of-the-attorney-general-obtained-a-detention-measure-against-three-men-for-the-commission-of-sexual-offenses-in-cordob\/","title":{"rendered":"After creating a judicial and police bloc to prosecute child abusers, the Office of the  Attorney General obtained a detention measure against three men for the commission of sexual offenses in C\u00f3rdoba"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span lang=\"en-US\">In compliance with the strategy related to the prioritization of cases that violate the integrity and sexual development of minors, a prosecutor from the Branch Office in C\u00f3rdoba achieved the prosecution of three men, for being the alleged responsible for the sexual abuse of two minors ( 12 and 13 years old) who lived in a rural area in\u00a0\u00a0\u200b\u200bthe municipality of San Carlos (C\u00f3rdoba).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">This result is due to the creation of the judicial and police bloc aimed at prosecuting those responsible for the violation of the rights of girls, boys and teenagers, which was announced in that Department last week by the Attorney General, Francisco Barbosa Delgado, who prioritized this case and in which conclusive results were achieved.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">According to the investigations, the minors who were cousins \u200b\u200band lived together, would be victims of the crimes of sexual assault and sexual acts committed by spiritual guide, an uncle and another of their relatives.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">These indecent acts to which they were subjected, began three years ago, but they were reported until last October.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">In a hearing*, the Office of the Attorney General charged Arturo Salgado P\u00e9rez, a spiritual guide, and their uncle, who was allegedly involved,\u00a0\u00a0with sexual act with a minor under the age of 14 in consistent sequence of serial crime.
