{"id":39394,"date":"2020-10-19T12:57:33","date_gmt":"2020-10-19T17:57:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=39394"},"modified":"2020-10-20T11:42:41","modified_gmt":"2020-10-20T16:42:41","slug":"the-office-of-the-attorney-general-obtained-a-custodial-measure-against-other-five-people-who-allegedly-participated-in-acts-of-urban-terrorism-in-bogota","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2020\/10\/19\/the-office-of-the-attorney-general-obtained-a-custodial-measure-against-other-five-people-who-allegedly-participated-in-acts-of-urban-terrorism-in-bogota\/","title":{"rendered":"The Office of the Attorney General obtained a custodial measure against other five people who allegedly participated in acts of urban terrorism in Bogot\u00e1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The defendants are accused of allegedly committing violent acts against various Immediate Action Command CAI (Comando de Acci\u00f3n Inmediata) in the city, of injuring members of the Public Force and assaulting Sitp buses, among others.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation strategy carried out under the guidelines of the Attorney General, Francisco Barbosa Delgado, to combat urban terrorism and counteract high-impact criminal phenomena that affect public safety, allowed the Special Directorate against Criminal Organizations to prosecute four men and a woman, for their alleged participation in the riots that took place on September 9th and 10th, in Bogot\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the investigations supported by Sij\u00edn officers, it was possible to identify and arrest the defendants by virtue of a court order.<\/p>\n<p>In the virtual hearings*, the Office of the Attorney General requested a custodial measure in a prison based on the evidence. However, the 64th supervisory judge guarantees issued home confinement against each one of the defendants.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Defendants and charges<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Based on the inspections, statements, interviews, video analysis, and photographic recognition, the Office of the Attorney General filed charges against:<\/p>\n<p>Nelson David Villamil Tolosa, 28 years old, accused of violence against a public servant. This person allegedly wounded the police officer Jessica Lorena Pati\u00f1o with a knife in her leg when she was riding her motorcycle near the CAI in Venecia neighborhood, in the south area of Bogot\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p>Pedro Anderson S\u00e1nchez Pirab\u00e1n and Lina Ver\u00f3nica Mayorga Luque, 25 years old (both), were prosecuted for aggravated terrorism taking into account that they would have been the ones who directed and provided elements in order for vandals to attack the CAI in Florida neighborhood, as well as some houses and commercial premises in the sector.<\/p>\n<p>Camilo Andr\u00e9s Rangel Reyes, 18 years old, was charged with disturbing the public transportation service and aggravated robbery. He allegedly intimidated a bus driver of Sitp system transportation by using a gun and stole his cell phone. Facts took place on September 10th.<\/p>\n<p>Guillermo Alfonso Correal Sierra, 65 years old, was charged with attempted murder and manufacturing, trafficking, or possession of firearms. It is believed that in an act of intolerance he shot a 17-year-old boy when he was protesting in CAI of Suba La Gaitana neighborhood.
