{"id":39297,"date":"2020-09-24T09:10:34","date_gmt":"2020-09-24T14:10:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=39297"},"modified":"2020-09-28T09:40:44","modified_gmt":"2020-09-28T14:40:44","slug":"the-office-of-the-attorney-general-achieved-a-prison-sentence-against-four-people-accused-of-infiltrating-protests-and-committing-vandalism-in-bogota","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2020\/09\/24\/the-office-of-the-attorney-general-achieved-a-prison-sentence-against-four-people-accused-of-infiltrating-protests-and-committing-vandalism-in-bogota\/","title":{"rendered":"The Office of the Attorney General achieved a prison sentence against four people accused of infiltrating protests and committing vandalism in Bogot\u00e1"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><strong><i><span lang=\"en-US\">They were allegedly coordinated by leaders of the FARC dissidents to promote terrorism in the main city of the country between November 2019 and September 2020.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/i><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">These results arise from the strategy of the Attorney General, Francisco Barbosa Delgado, to combat urban terrorism and counteract high-impact criminal phenomena that affect public safety.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Thanks to the conclusive evidence presented by the Office of the Attorney General, the 74th Supervisory Judge in Bogot\u00e1 imposed a prison term against Justo Ernesto Villarraga, Erika Lorena Flores Dur\u00e1n, Miguel Andr\u00e9s Parga and Greissy Alexandra Perilla Vargas for terrorism, criminal conspiracy, disturbance in public transport, obstruction of public roads, violence against a public servant\u00a0and damage to third-party property.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">On November 21, 2019, they allegedly participated in the blockages in the southwest area of Bogot\u00e1, in damages committed in the portal of Transmilenio in Las Am\u00e9ricas, in plunderings and strong confrontations with the military police in the sectors of Patio Bonito and Tintal, by using unconventional devices to attack the SMAD (Mobile Anti-Riot Squad).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">On the other hand, they allegedly recruited people to achieve their goal and also participated in violent protests in the months of April and May, as well as in the recent disturbances. For example, on September 9, Villarraga and Parga allegedly burned an\u00a0<a>Immediate Action Command CAI.<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">According to the investigation, the four defendants and a woman, known with the alias of Rosita, would be members of the\u00a0<i>Uni\u00f3n Solidaria de Bogot\u00e1<\/i>\u00a0lead by Wilson Reinel Moreno, alias Mart\u00edn, who was arrested in the department of Tolima last February.
