Previously, he was charged with the murder of two relatives of a former Farc member in process of reincorporation.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The Office of the Attorney General, through the Special Investigation Unit, within the framework of the strategy to prosecute those people responsible for violations against human rights defenders, social leaders and reincorporated members of the FARC, charged Anderson Jair Quintero Quintana, alias El Abuelo, an alleged\u00a0\u00a0leader of the Organized Armed Group (GAO) Pelusos- EPL in Oca\u00f1a, for several murders that took place in 2019 in\u00a0<i>Norte de Santander<\/i>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The Office of the Attorney General charged him with aggravated murder, aggravated criminal conspiracy, manufacture, trafficking or possession of weapons, attempted murder, and aggravated theft.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">According to the investigation, alias el Abuelo would be the alleged perpetrator of the crime committed against the social leader of the neighborhood<i>\u00a0<\/i>known as\u00a0<i>Colinas de Esperanza<\/i>\u00a0in Oca\u00f1a, Mar\u00eda del Carmen Flores, who also worked at the Municipal Mayor&#8217;s Office which was perpetrated on May 16, 2019.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Likewise, he is allegedly involved in the murder of Nelson Pacheco and Denis Alfonso Manzano Navarro. The first fact took place in a rural settlement\u00a0\u00a0named Concepci\u00f3n in Oca\u00f1a, on April 10<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0\u00a0and another one on January 6<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0\u00a0in Santa Clara neighborhood in the same municipality. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">He is also allegedly involved in the murder of Leidy Yurley Bermon Hern\u00e1ndez and the attempted murder of Jes\u00fas Ariel Guti\u00e9rrez G\u00f3mez, which took place on April 17, 2019 in rural settlement Rugosa, in the municipality of Sardinata (Norte de Santander).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">These results are added to the charges brought by the Office\u00a0\u00a0of the Attorney General against him for the murder of Rub\u00e9n T\u00e9llez Rodr\u00edguez and Norber Rodr\u00edguez Quintero, brother and sentimental partner, respectively, of a former Farc member in process of reincorporation which took place on June 9, 2019 in Buenavista, Oca\u00f1a.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">This investigation derives from a response to the guidelines defined by the Attorney General, Francisco Barbosa Delgado, the strategic direction and his institutional policy &#8221; En la calle y en los territorios\u201d which aim at prioritizing cases that affect human rights leaders, people in the process of reincorporation and the civil population in general.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The Office of the Attorney General makes this information public for reasons of general interest.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>He was also brought before a court for other three murders and an attempted murder in that town, and in the municipality of Sardinata.
