{"id":39057,"date":"2020-08-03T14:53:07","date_gmt":"2020-08-03T19:53:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=39057"},"modified":"2020-08-05T13:15:52","modified_gmt":"2020-08-05T18:15:52","slug":"prosecuted-an-alleged-member-of-residual-group-accused-of-financing-a-corruption-network-that-allegedly-won-contracts-on-post-conflict","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2020\/08\/03\/prosecuted-an-alleged-member-of-residual-group-accused-of-financing-a-corruption-network-that-allegedly-won-contracts-on-post-conflict\/","title":{"rendered":"Prosecuted an alleged member of residual group accused of financing a corruption network that allegedly won contracts on post-conflict"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><i><span lang=\"en-US\">An indictment was filed by the Office of the Attorney General against nine other people who would be part of this illegal structure that obtained resources from public entities and municipalities.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The Office of the Attorney General is moving forward on\u00a0\u00a0different lines of investigation to prosecute all people linked to a voluntary agreement which included officials, contractors and private individuals who irregularly executed contracts whose object was to assist populations affected by the armed conflict. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The evidence revealed that Residual Organized Armed Groups provided the corruption network with resources in exchange for a percentage of the money received from state entities and municipalities, many of them from Nari\u00f1o, in order to cover plans about post-conflict.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">One of the alleged perpetrators of this criminal financing activity was identified as Washington Castillo Cundum\u00ed, alias Chayanne.
