{"id":38999,"date":"2020-07-26T10:17:28","date_gmt":"2020-07-26T15:17:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=38999"},"modified":"2020-07-28T19:23:23","modified_gmt":"2020-07-29T00:23:23","slug":"20-people-prosecuted-in-caqueta-during-an-event-against-sexual-offenses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2020\/07\/26\/20-people-prosecuted-in-caqueta-during-an-event-against-sexual-offenses\/","title":{"rendered":"20 people prosecuted in Caquet\u00e1 during an event against sexual offenses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span lang=\"en-US\">In the development of the policy of prioritizing cases on crimes that affect the physical and sexual integrity of children and teenagers, the Office of the Attorney General through the Branch Office in Caquet\u00e1 prosecuted 20 people.<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Thanks to the investigations carried out by members of the judicial police, their identification was achieved. In the last two weeks, members of the Technical Investigative Corps (<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Cuerpo T\u00e9cnico de Investigaci\u00f3n\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">CTI in Spanish), the National Police and Army carried out operations in different municipalities of that Department which allowed to arrest the suspects, most of them, in Florence.<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Among the people prosecuted for sexual acts with a child under 14 years of age; abusive sexual assault with a child under 14 years, and others for\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">sexual assault, there are two people who allegedly assaulted adult women. In one of the cases, the victim was the defendant\u00b4s lessee.<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">It has been established that the victims, whose ages range between 4 and 13 years, have been raped by relatives or acquaintances who apparently took advantage of their closeness, relationship and familiarity to subject the victims to harassment.<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">On the other hand, the Office of the Attorney General charged two men who despite the fact that they were fully aware that their partners were minors, they intimated with them.<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The municipalities in which these events took plave were Florencia, Bel\u00e9n de Los Andaqu\u00edes and Cartagena del Chair\u00e1, among others.<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the development of the policy of prioritizing cases on crimes that affect the physical and sexual integrity of children and teenagers, the Office of the Attorney General through the Branch Office in Caquet\u00e1 prosecuted 20 people.\u00a0 Thanks to the investigations carried out by members of the judicial police, their identification was achieved.
