{"id":38952,"date":"2020-07-15T16:47:20","date_gmt":"2020-07-15T21:47:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=38952"},"modified":"2020-07-16T09:49:16","modified_gmt":"2020-07-16T14:49:16","slug":"arrested-los-ruger-a-criminal-organization-involved-in-drug-trafficking-activities-in-sibate-and-soacha-cundinamarca","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2020\/07\/15\/arrested-los-ruger-a-criminal-organization-involved-in-drug-trafficking-activities-in-sibate-and-soacha-cundinamarca\/","title":{"rendered":"Arrested \u2018Los Ruger\u2019, a criminal organization involved in drug trafficking activities in Sibat\u00e9 and Soacha (Cundinamarca)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><i><span lang=\"en-US\">The arrests were carried out in Pasto (Nari\u00f1o), Sibat\u00e9 and Villeta (Cundinamarca).<\/span><\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">At the request of the Office of the Attorney General, a supervisory judge issued\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">a prison sentence for seven ( 7) of the ten (10) alleged members of a criminal organization involved in the sale and transportation of drugs in the municipalities of Soacha and Sibat\u00e9 (Cundinamarca).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The other three people remain under house arrest after presenting medical certificates which indicate that they have respiratory problems and that they are head of the household.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The Prosecutor\u00b4s Office in Cundinamarca identified the defendants through images obtained from strategic places and the work of undercover agents who infiltrated the organization to establish the role of each of its members.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">In a hearing<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><sup>1<\/sup><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">, the Office of the Attorney General charged the defendants with criminal conspiracy and drug trafficking, manufacturing, or possession of drugs:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Yuber Alonso Gonz\u00e1lez P\u00e1rraga, alias Yuber<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Andr\u00e9s Camilo Fl\u00f3rez Pinto, alias Pinto<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Steven David Ubaque Cifuentes, alias Ubaque<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0William Vargas Guerrero, alias Millos<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Jos\u00e9 Alfredo Miranda Salamanca, alias Chepe<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Pedro Jos\u00e9 Jaimes Contreras, alias Chulo<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Mar\u00eda Camila Luengas Correa, alias Mona<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">8.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Sergio Andr\u00e9s Parra N\u00fa\u00f1ez, alias Diablito<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">9.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00d3scar Alberto Caballero Gil, alias Antanas<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">10. Daniel Eduardo Hern\u00e1ndez Mart\u00ednez<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The prosecutor, appointed to the support unit (Unidad de Estructura de Apoyo EDA) and who is in charge of the process revealed that these people, apparently, focused on the sale of drugs near schools and that their organization expanded in recent months.
