This decision became a reality in the last hours since\u00a0<a id=\"LPlnk355849\"><\/a>the defendant turned herself in to the authorities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Pinto P\u00e9rez was arrested for alleged irregularities in contracts in the years 2010-2011 in the municipality of Albania (La Guajira). She apparently created a foundation named\u00a0<i>Princesa Negra<\/i>\u00a0to be in charge of auditing the road-paving contract in that municipality for amounts exceeding 12,000,000,000.
