{"id":38875,"date":"2020-06-25T18:06:24","date_gmt":"2020-06-25T23:06:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=38875"},"modified":"2020-07-02T14:04:29","modified_gmt":"2020-07-02T19:04:29","slug":"the-office-of-the-attorney-general-francisco-barbosa-visited-the-branch-office-in-cali-as-part-of-his-security-strategy-en-la-calle-y-en-los-territorios","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2020\/06\/25\/the-office-of-the-attorney-general-francisco-barbosa-visited-the-branch-office-in-cali-as-part-of-his-security-strategy-en-la-calle-y-en-los-territorios\/","title":{"rendered":"The Office of the Attorney General, Francisco Barbosa, visited the branch Office in Cali as part of his security strategy \u2018En la Calle y en los territorios\u2019*"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The Attorney General, Francisco Barbosa Delgado, visited the city of Cali (Valle del Cauca) as part of the institutional strategy on public safety and he stated that the work and coordination with the National Police and other municipal institutions will be strengthened to fight against criminality which is affecting the neighborhoods, the administrative divisions and districts of this city.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Initially, the institution will focus on the administrative divisions named \u2018Comuna\u2019 11, 12, 13, 14 and 21 of the District of Agua Blanca where the highest number of criminal acts has been registered in recent months.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">He added that the Office of the Attorney General will designate the investigative capacity to dismantle the different criminal structures in Cali and will use new technologies, such as artificial intelligence to carry out a facial recognition of criminals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The Attorney General, Francisco Barbosa Delgado, stated that in coordination with the district administration, there will be specific places to imprison arrested people.
