{"id":38835,"date":"2020-06-11T10:28:00","date_gmt":"2020-06-11T15:28:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=38835"},"modified":"2020-06-16T10:25:59","modified_gmt":"2020-06-16T15:25:59","slug":"alias-cecilia-and-alias-none-alleged-members-of-a-residual-group-responsible-for-committing-murders-and-other-criminal-actions-in-the-east-of-the-country-were-sent-to-prison","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2020\/06\/11\/alias-cecilia-and-alias-none-alleged-members-of-a-residual-group-responsible-for-committing-murders-and-other-criminal-actions-in-the-east-of-the-country-were-sent-to-prison\/","title":{"rendered":"Alias Cecilia and alias None, alleged members of a residual group responsible for committing murders and other criminal actions in the east of the country were sent to prison"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span lang=\"en-US\">They are under an investigation by the Office of the Attorney General for criminal conspiracy and aggravated murder.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Thanks to the investigations and the evidence collected by the Office of the Attorney General, Yolanda Gonz\u00e1lez Garc\u00eda, alias Cecilia; and Yonnier Emilio Pinz\u00f3n Mogoll\u00f3n, alias None, alleged members of the Armed Group (Grupo Armado Organizado Residual Gaor) known as the 10th Mart\u00edn Villa front, were brought before the court.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The technical evidence that was obtained indicates that these people played an active role in the criminal organization and gave instructions through phone calls and messages about committing illegal activities in Arauca and other areas in the eastern area of the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">These communications show that alias Cecilia had established fees to merchants to allow them to take their products out of the region and asked them to transfer their lands to support the organization. The resources obtained were reported to Ferley Gonz\u00e1lez, the alleged leader of the residual structure who used the resources to finance attacks against the civilian population, the infrastructure, and the public force.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Conversations between &#8216;Cecilia&#8217; and &#8216;None&#8217; also demonstrate the illegal participation in the elections of local and regional leaders which took place in October 2019. In some conversations, they talked about why the ELN made incursions in several municipalities of Arauca.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Part of this evidence was presented by the prosecutor of the case in the hearings to demonstrate the level of danger\u00a0to the population posed by the defendants who would also be involved in selective killings.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>They are under an investigation by the Office of the Attorney General for criminal conspiracy and aggravated murder.
