{"id":38748,"date":"2020-05-12T13:11:04","date_gmt":"2020-05-12T18:11:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=38748"},"modified":"2020-05-13T17:27:59","modified_gmt":"2020-05-13T22:27:59","slug":"arrested-alleged-first-ringleader-of-los-rastrojos-in-norte-de-santander","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2020\/05\/12\/arrested-alleged-first-ringleader-of-los-rastrojos-in-norte-de-santander\/","title":{"rendered":"Arrested alleged first ringleader of Los Rastrojos in Norte de Santander"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Based on the arguments made by the Office of the Attorney General, a supervisory judge issued a detention\u00a0measure with imprisonment against Jacobo Manuel Montoya Montoya, an alleged member of the criminal group\u00a0<i>Los Rastrojos<\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The Office of the Attorney General charged him with criminal conspiracy to commit murder and extortion\u00a0as well as trafficking, manufacturing, or possession of firearms for the exclusive use of the military forces.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">According to the investigation, Montoya Montoya was in the criminal organization for 14 years after his demobilization from the United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia (Autodefensas Unidas de Colombia AUC).
