{"id":38732,"date":"2020-05-07T12:50:55","date_gmt":"2020-05-07T17:50:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=38732"},"modified":"2020-05-08T17:41:13","modified_gmt":"2020-05-08T22:41:13","slug":"press-release-222","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2020\/05\/07\/press-release-222\/","title":{"rendered":"Press Release 222"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span lang=\"en-US\">As part of the Office of the Attorney General\u00b4s commitment to protecting girls, boys and teenagers\u2019 rights and with the purpose of providing effective assistance and protection to victims, several decisions were made concerning the investigation that allegedly links some members of the Archdiocese of Villavicencio (Meta).<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div><span lang=\"en-US\">1.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">The Attorney General, Francisco Barbosa Delgado, prioritized the process and ordered to transfer it to Bogot\u00e1 in order to be under the responsibility of the Office\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><i><span lang=\"en-US\">Oficina para la Integraci\u00f3n y Articulaci\u00f3n del Enfoque de G\u00e9nero, Infancia y Adolescencia<\/span><\/i><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0which belongs to the Office of the Deputy Attorney General.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"en-US\">2.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">In this sense, the proceedings carried out by a sectional prosecutor of the\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Center for Integral Attention to Victims of Sexual Violence (<\/span><i><span lang=\"en-US\">Centro de Atenci\u00f3n Integral a V\u00edctimas de Agresi\u00f3n Sexual (Caivas<\/span><\/i><span lang=\"en-US\">))<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">of Villavicencio, who began the investigation, will now be carried out by the main headquarters in order to guarantee impartiality, independence, speed, and efficiency in the administration of justice.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>3.
