{"id":38686,"date":"2020-04-20T12:02:11","date_gmt":"2020-04-20T17:02:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=38686"},"modified":"2020-04-22T16:01:46","modified_gmt":"2020-04-22T21:01:46","slug":"the-highest-prison-sentence-against-the-organized-crime-became-final","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2020\/04\/20\/the-highest-prison-sentence-against-the-organized-crime-became-final\/","title":{"rendered":"The highest prison sentence against the organized crime became final"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The leaders of a structure belonging to Clan del Golfo and known as \u2018Los Descuartizadores\u2019 must serve 60 years in prison, after the Attorney General&#8217;s Office proved that they participated in several murders which took place in C\u00f3rdoba, Antioquia and Bogot\u00e1.<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The investigation carried out by the Office of the Attorney General, through the Special Directorate against Criminal Organizations, showed that four members of the criminal structure &#8220;Los Descuartizadores&#8221;, working for the criminal organization Clan del Golfo, participated in several murders that occurred between 2009 and 2010.<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The evidence revealed that the criminal organization murdered, dismembered and buried five people on a farm located on the route Monter\u00eda (C\u00f3rdoba) &#8211; Arboletes (Antioquia).
