This is about two farms of 120 and 50 hectares, respectively, which are located in the municipality of San Marcos in the Department of Sucre. This measure also involves a luxury vehicle.<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">These actions arose after a technical report revealed that former senator, taking advantage of his status and contacts, allegedly committed acts of corruption in favor of the multinational Odebrecht.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">According to accounting and financial\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">information<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">cross-checked\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">by the Judicial Police of the Special Office on Assets Forfeiture, Guerra De la Espriella had an unjustified increase of his assets between 2012 and 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The evidence has revealed that Guerra De la Espriella would have served as a mediator to expedite the process of signing the legal stability agreement required by the Brazilian multinational in regard to\u00a0<i>Ruta del Sol II<\/i>. This process would have meant to the former senator a profit of 200 million pesos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">Moreover, the Office of the Attorney General has information about the alleged intervention of former senator Guerra in the navigability project on\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">Ri\u0301o Magdalena (Navelena)<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0and about his participation to process addendums on Oca\u00f1a-Gamarra section.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The seized properties were entrusted to\u00a0<\/span><i><span lang=\"en-US\">Sociedad de Activos Especiales (SAE<\/span><\/i><span lang=\"en-US\">) in order to be managed.<i><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The Office of the Attorney General makes this information public for reasons of general interest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">*Assets Seizure:\u00a0<i>Extinci\u00f3n de Dominio<\/i>\u00a0in Spanish means \u201cLoss of ownership of property derived from or used in criminal activity which will be seized by government\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Office of the Attorney General, with the support of National Army, carried out an asset seizure* process on various assets owned by former senator Antonio Guerra De la Espriella.
