{"id":38662,"date":"2020-03-30T08:54:00","date_gmt":"2020-03-30T13:54:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=38662"},"modified":"2020-03-31T10:57:28","modified_gmt":"2020-03-31T15:57:28","slug":"gigantic-judicial-offensive-against-murder-and-femicide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2020\/03\/30\/gigantic-judicial-offensive-against-murder-and-femicide\/","title":{"rendered":"Gigantic judicial offensive against murder and femicide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><b><span lang=\"en-US\">As a result of a joint investigation and operation between the Office of the Attorney General and the National Police, 137 people were linked to a criminal proceeding.\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The Attorney General&#8217;s Office, through the Technical Investigative Corps (in Spanish Cuerpo T\u00e9cnico de Investigaci\u00f3n CTI) and the National Police arranged a specific day to identify and locate the alleged perpetrators of murders and femicides that took place in 2019 and so far in 2020 .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The offensive named \u2018Plan Cazador\u2019 was carried out between March 4th and 25th of the current year and allowed to link 137 people to different processes. 128 people were arrested since there were current court orders against them. Therefore, detention measures were issued against them. Another 9 individuals were linked to the investigations through indictments.<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">48 of the 128 individuals arrested would be part of criminal structures such as \u2018Clan del Golfo\u2019, \u2018La Agon\u00eda\u2019 and \u2018Los Flacos\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">In addition to the 137 individuals mentioned, 20 people who were in prisons were notified about other processes.
