She\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0arrived at\u00a0<i>El Dorado<\/i>\u00a0International Airport in Bogot\u00e1 on March 18<sup>th<\/sup>. Upon her entry, migration authorities in Colombia informed the woman about the restrictions she had and the isolation process she had to comply as a precautionary measure.<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">This person allegedly ignored all the orders. She traveled to the capital of the Department of Cesar and stayed in a hotel. There, she was arrested and she had to undergo medical protocols established for nationals and foreigners arriving from other countries.<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">In a virtual hearing that took place in Valledupar (Cesar), the arrested woman was charged with violation of health measures. She did not plead guilty to the charges. At the request of the prosecutor hearing the case, the supervisory judge issued a home detention order and insisted on the urgency to respect all medical indications.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">It is important to highlight that a person who violates a sanitary measure\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">shall be punished with imprisonment of four (4) to eight (8) years.<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-US\">The Office of the Attorney General makes this information public for reasons of general interest.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Home detention order for a Colombian citizen coming from the United States for failure to comply with health protocols.
