{"id":37085,"date":"2017-10-04T12:46:14","date_gmt":"2017-10-04T17:46:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=37085"},"modified":"2017-10-18T16:37:10","modified_gmt":"2017-10-18T21:37:10","slug":"preventive-detention-orders-were-issued-for-alleged-members-of-the-clan-del-golfo%c2%b4s-security-ring","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2017\/10\/04\/preventive-detention-orders-were-issued-for-alleged-members-of-the-clan-del-golfo%c2%b4s-security-ring\/","title":{"rendered":"Preventive detention orders were issued for alleged members of the Clan del Golfo\u00b4s security ring"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Third Criminal Court<strong>* <\/strong>in Antioquia<strong> <\/strong>(Guarantee Court) issued a preventive detention order with imprisonment against Mauricio Giraldo Garc\u00e9s, Luis Alfonso G\u00f3mez Mu\u00f1oz, Pedro Nel Trujillo D\u00edaz and Luis Alirio Ben\u00edtez Pulgar\u00edn for alleged possession of firearms for civilian and military use.<\/p>\n<p>The above mentioned people were arrested on October 1st in a rural area named Buritic\u00e1 (Antioquia) by members of the so-called <em>Comando de Operaciones Especiales de la Polic\u00eda Nacional (Copes), <\/em>during an operation in helicopter aimed at detaining Neil Antonio Acosta Manga, alias Cole (42 years old), alleged ringleader of the so-called <em>Clan del Golfo <\/em>in at least 12 municipalities in the west of Antioquia.
