More than 400 people including magistrates, judges, public lawyers, prosecutors, professors and university students attended the event.<\/p>\n<p>This event will allow the attendees to know about the scope of Law 1826 that will alleviate workloads in courts in order to shorten criminal proceedings observing the due process.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>*Acusador privado: it refers to a private person (victim) that can file criminal complaints or charges against others for misdemeanor crimes, without the police or the prosecutor\u2019s office being involved.
