{"id":36755,"date":"2017-06-08T17:35:40","date_gmt":"2017-06-08T22:35:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=36755"},"modified":"2017-06-22T14:41:18","modified_gmt":"2017-06-22T19:41:18","slug":"11-people-were-arrested-for-alleged-violation-of-information-systems-in-colpensiones","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2017\/06\/08\/11-people-were-arrested-for-alleged-violation-of-information-systems-in-colpensiones\/","title":{"rendered":"11 people were arrested for alleged violation of information systems in Colpensiones"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">174 pensions were allegedly illegally granted with back pay, amounting to $5.100 billion pesos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">They charged between 10 and 100 million pesos for carrying out the illegal processes.\u00a0 They charged people according to the pension that was going to be granted. <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>11 people who were contractors in <em>Colpensiones*<\/em> were arrested by Dijin judicial police under the coordination of a prosecutor belonging to the unit <em>Estructura de Apoyo <\/em>\u2013 Sectional Office in Bogot\u00e1 for allegedly being part of a criminal structure engaged in illegally modifying and granting old age pensions.<\/p>\n<p>As a matter of fact, the complaint was filed by the representative of<em> Administradora Colombiana de Pensiones (Colpensiones)<\/em> in June 2014, in which the Office of the Attorney General was informed about irregular practices detected when pensions were granted.
