The Odebrecht firm admitted to having paid bribes to 12 countries in order to win contracts. \u201cAlso in the case of Colombia, these payments add up to 11 million dollars between 2009 and 2014 in order to obtain contracts on public works\u201d, as stated the document signed by prosecutors from the Court for the East District of Nueva York.<\/li>\n<li>The Office of the Attorney General immediately opened an investigation to corroborate these facts which have been made public.
