Charges were brought by the Office of the Attorney General in regards to an investigation which is conducted for his participation in the so called case \u201cCarrusel de la Contrataci\u00f3n\u201d in Bogot\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p>This would be the third conviction he must serve. The first one was of three years and a half, for criminal conspiracy; the second one was of seven years for bribery and undue interest in the execution of contracts.<\/p>\n<p>On January 17th, the judge will pass sentence.
