{"id":34575,"date":"2014-11-06T16:26:30","date_gmt":"2014-11-06T21:26:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=34575"},"modified":"2015-02-09T16:29:25","modified_gmt":"2015-02-09T21:29:25","slug":"the-attorney-general%c2%b4s-office-intervention-in-buenaventura-has-generated-trust-among-citizens-stated-deputy-attorney-general","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2014\/11\/06\/the-attorney-general%c2%b4s-office-intervention-in-buenaventura-has-generated-trust-among-citizens-stated-deputy-attorney-general\/","title":{"rendered":"The Attorney General\u00b4s Office intervention in Buenaventura has generated trust among citizens: stated Deputy Attorney General"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today, during a visit to the municipality of Buenaventura (Valle del Cauca), the Deputy Attorney General, Jorge Fernando Perdomo Torres, gave a report regarding the positive results of the Attorney General\u00b4s Office intervention in that region during the last 6 months.<strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In this regard, he said that it is satisfying for him to see that the Office of the Attorney General has been strengthen with more than 30 public servants in that region, 200 people have been arrested from April to up to now for several offenses and cases in which people have been murdered by dismemberment have been clarified.<\/p>\n<p>He added: &#8220;We have been able to clarify crimes on issues such as extortion, micro trafficking, disappearance, displacement, which means that the institutional strengthening has been significant.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Regarding those cases in which people have been murdered by dismemberment he stated that people inolved have been identified and twenty six (26) warrants of arrest have been requested.
