He is wanted for the crimes of extortion, bribery, breach of Public Duty and conspiracy to commit crimes.<\/p>\n<p>Once Marulanda learned about an investigation that was conducting the Attorney General\u00b4s Office regarding an alleged illegal payment of receipts to contractors and the addressing of terms and conditions to assign contracts which was detected on august 25<sup>th<\/sup> at the Protection National Unit (Unidad Nacional de Protection), he left the country towards Miami.
