{"id":33339,"date":"2014-05-31T09:36:41","date_gmt":"2014-05-31T14:36:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=33339"},"modified":"2014-06-09T09:22:23","modified_gmt":"2014-06-09T14:22:23","slug":"former-governor-of-cordoba-was-detained-for-the-offenses-of-war-crimes-and-crimes-against-humanity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2014\/05\/31\/former-governor-of-cordoba-was-detained-for-the-offenses-of-war-crimes-and-crimes-against-humanity\/","title":{"rendered":"Former governor of C\u00f3rdoba was detained for the offenses of war crimes and crimes against humanity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The National Directorate of Analysis and Contexts requested the detention of the former manager of <em>Fondo Ganadero de C\u00f3rdoba<\/em> and former governor of the same region, Benito Osorio Villadiego, for charges related to war crimes and crimes against humanity.<\/p>\n<p>According to investigations, Osorio Villadiego in association with Sor Teresa G\u00f3mez \u00c1lvarez from Casta\u00f1o\u00b4s Clan took more than 100 properties of\u00a0 rural families in C\u00f3rdoba and Urab\u00e1 by means of fraud and\u00a0 false property titles in order to legalize them and leave them in the hands of <em>Fondo Ganadero de Cordoba <\/em>which was under his management in 1997<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><\/em>The former governor is also responsible for the offense of criminal impersonation at the same investigation since he unlawfully took 16 properties located in the municipality of Tierra Alta (C\u00f3rdoba) through the front man of Salvatore Mancuso G\u00f3mez, Aram Asias Soler in 2007.<\/p>\n<p>The victims are demanding to have their rights restored.
