{"id":31580,"date":"2013-04-25T12:15:31","date_gmt":"2013-04-25T17:15:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=31580"},"modified":"2013-04-29T07:23:38","modified_gmt":"2013-04-29T12:23:38","slug":"captured-up-town-councilor-for-murder","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2013\/04\/25\/captured-up-town-councilor-for-murder\/","title":{"rendered":"Captured UP town Councilor for murder"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pedro Nel C\u00e1rdenas C\u00e1ceres was captured by agents of the Technical Investigative Team (CTI) of the Office of The Attorney General of Colombia in San Vicente del Chucur\u00ed (Santander) for his alleged involvement in the killing of Elias Blanco Porras, town Councilor of the Patriotic Union (UP) party in Zapatoca municipality (Santander), on March 27, 1995.<\/p>\n<p>The captured individual is summoned and required to appear before the 93\u00b0 special Prosecutor of the National Unit of Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law for offences of aggravated conspiracy to commit crimes, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated murder.<\/p>\n<p>According to the investigation, C\u00e1rdenas C\u00e1ceres was a member of the United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia (AUC) and participated in the fact.
