{"id":21268,"date":"2012-10-10T17:11:38","date_gmt":"2012-10-10T22:11:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=21268"},"modified":"2013-01-25T11:35:07","modified_gmt":"2013-01-25T16:35:07","slug":"first-convictions-of-damages-to-the-slabs-of-transmilenio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2012\/10\/10\/first-convictions-of-damages-to-the-slabs-of-transmilenio\/","title":{"rendered":"First convictions of damages to the slabs of \u201cTransmilenio\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Taking into account the statement of a Prosecutor assigned to the National Anti-corruption Unit, the 45 Circuit Criminal Judge in charge of streamlining backlogged cases in Bogot\u00e1 has convicted the former Director of the Urban Development Institute (in Spanish: IDU), Andr\u00e9s Camargo of culpable embezzlement and improper conclusion of contracts to 85 months in prison.<\/p>\n<p>The sentence is pronounced in ongoing prosecution for irregularities in the execution of contracts for Transmilenio phase II, respecting the slabs of the northern highway.<\/p>\n<p>Also, the Presiding Judge has passed similar sentence on Mar\u00eda Elvira Bola\u00f1o and \u00d3scar Hernando Sol\u00f3rzano, in his capacity as advisers to the IDU.
